Το Rock N' Jock ξεκίνησε το 1991. Ήταν ο λόγος που ο Leonardo DiCaprio ψυχράθηκε με τον Mark Wahlberg, γιατί μέσα στην ένταση του παιχνιδιού όλα μπορούν να γίνουν . Το show του MTV για την εποχή του ήταν πολύ προχωρημένο και φυσικά όλοι ήθελαν να πάρουν μέρος σε αυτό. Ηθοποιοί, μουσικοί και διάφοροι καλλιτέχνες αντιμετώπιζαν επαγγελματίες αθλητές σε διάφορα σπορ. Αρχικά περιελάμβανε μόνο το σόφτμπολ στη συνέχεια όμως προστέθηκε το μπάσκετ και το ποδόσφαιρο.
